Mobile VS Website Casino Meditation

Pardon me for not mustering up a headline of a somewhat more creative nature. Yet, I hope what I’m about to share will more than compensate for that.

As you all know, I play a lot of slots. You could pretty much say I’m the biggest slot in town. But, not only that, for whenever I’m in the mood for it, which is quite often to be fair, I have a go at the blackjack tables too.

For several years I was a steady soldier who would not give up on playing on my desktop. You know, big screen, good overview, and so on. When mobile casinos started to emerge on the scene for real about ten years ago, I’ll be honest – I wasn’t at all taken aback by it.

But ever since, a lot has happened on the mobile scene – and to the point where I might just have to reconsider my position altogether.

I’d say the crossover from desktop to mobile happened some time during Covid. This is when the online casino industry truly super charged their mobile departments. Ever since, they haven’t looked back, and neither have I.

I never thought I would admit it to be honest. Mobile apps have never been my thing and still aren’t. But when it comes to mobile casinos, there is in fact a different story to be told.

It is beyond my understanding how so much can fit so nicely and intuitively on a tiny mobile screen. I just don’t get it, and still they pull it off as if it were magic. Someone, please promote whoever is in charge for the mobile casino departments, for they sure managed to convert a non-believer.

Up until at least 2017-2018 most mobile casino apps weren’t that big of a deal. They were just an option for overly gambling thirsting individuals. Problem gamblers. Like smoking a really disgusting cigarette in case the alternative is to have none at all. Of course there were some strong mobile exceptions back then as well, but they sure weren’t too many. But then mobile casino apps just caught up on the trend and decided to front run it.

It still amaze me how I today rarely if ever play on my desktop or laptop anymore. It used to be my precious space. Nowadays, it’s associated with nothing but work, whereas my mobile phone has become my private sanctuary. It’s where I can let loose of my real self and without snoopy eyes watching my every move. And better yet, somehow those mobile casino apps enable me to step into myself and BE myself whenever I’m in a public setting. Sure, this may sound strange to some. But I’m sure you’d feel the same if you were to be able to escape into your private world of hobby at moment’s notice. For that’s pretty much what it is. I’m a casino lover. I love a good game of blackjack or session of slots. Not to win money. I’m stupid. But to breathe out and meditate in some peculiar fashion. To shut out the ever chattering of work, noise, family life, complaining neighbors and whatever else may be included in my world around me. Some like to watch a movie (and so do I), and others play badminton (wusses). I like to step into my own world, which I have realized is far more easy when being on your mobile phone than it ever was when I played on my desktop.

When you find what you’re looking for, you stick to it. I found it in my mobile phone.
